Built-in heater integration

The KY Series filter features a built-in chamber designed to house a heater rod inside the filter body. By removing the heater from inside your tank, you get a clean, distraction-free aquascape without sacrificing performance. Plus, placing the heater directly in the line of flow ensures superior heat circulation and steady water temperatures.

Compatible Heaters:

Fits standard 24mm diameter glass heater rods. Tested compatible heaters include:

• KY Heater

• Aqua One Heater

Heater Installation Tip: If inserting the heater into the adapter collar feels tight, lubricate the glass tube with a drop of dish soap. Always rinse the heater thoroughly before placing it in the filter.
